Job description:
Project leader positions at the level of assistant professor, lecture, or associate professor are available at Institute of Biology and Information Science (IBIS) in East China Normal University (ECNU). IBIS is a newly established multidisciplinary research center for integrative biosciences and information science projects. IBIS provides an international research environment and welcomes both domestic and overseas' researchers and students. IBIS investigates the fundamental principles in living systems by creating artificial cells either in test tubes or in silico and by conducting laboratory evolution with intracellular and populational analyses. The candidate is expected to engage any of the related projects and shares the duty of education and management with the professor (principle investigator).
Qualifications:
Energetic, highly responsible and motivated individuals with strong background in any of the following fields: biochemistry, physics, molecular evolution, genetic or chemical engineering, are awaited. Experience on bioinformatics analysis or computational programing is advantageous. Applicants should have a PhD degree, a productive track record, and a high writing and communication skills in English and Japanese or Chinese.

Compensation: Depends on the applicant's experience and ECNU's regulation.
